Curtain Set, 2020
Two piece set made from my own curtain off-cuts. The skirt is a handkerchief-style skirt and the top, a simple boxy silhouette. The pattern created for this set took a more experimental approach to minimize waste, resulting in a pattern that was close to zero waste.
The simple rectangular shapes were applied in many different ways to create draped silhouettes as well as strong boxy shapes. The final garment resulted in an elegant, versatile and feminine set.
