27 Royalty, 2020
This garments were created as a tribute to the 27 club and those who have passed too young. A sensitive subject. The top was created with plaited twine, looped and individually joined with metal jump rings. The 'bleeding heart' was also created with the plaited twine, which was then coated in painted silicone.
The full-length skirt was created in a metallic satin to give a sense of royalty. The skirt was draped along the top and was then left to hang naturally.
