Celina Samarakoon

This project was my second custom design project with more complex garments. The project commenced with digital body scanning, which was then translated into a digital avatar. This digital avatar was used to commence digital fittings and illustrator was used to make zero waste patterns. This process allowed for a completely digital design, patternmaking, toile and fitting process. The finished garments were a a-symmetrical pleated jacket with a matching bag to make zero waste and Straight leg pants with pleated overlay. Animated digital garments below.
